Financially backward helpless lonely families who badly require assistance for food and their health needs are identified and provided a monthly food kit with financial assistance of a group of likeminded people. The needy people are identified with the assistance of janamaithri police and vana samrakshina samithi, forest department, local self-government representatives and other social service organizations.

GHuGs – Under privileged, financially backward, destitute old people. Currently GHuGs provide assistance to 81 families living in the rural areas around Trivandrum

Volunteers – Good Samaritans who fund this project. 25 GHuGs volunteers who are willing to share the monthly expenses of feeding the chosen GHuGs beneficiaries.

Associates – Janamaithri Police and Vana Samrakshina Samithi, Local self-government representatives, are associating in identifying and providing for the needy.

Project propagation

Likeminded people with sensitivity towards destitute people who have the good will and mind set can become a green volunteer by donating minimum of INR 1000 rupees per month
